The Food Space & Restaurant AlpiNN located at the top of Plan de Corones, in the heart of the Alto Adige Dolomites, is no ordinary restaurant. You can tell right away by its breathtaking location, surrounded on all sides by mountains and only accessible by cable car. The concept, says Norbert Niederkofler who, together with Paolo Ferretti, founded Alpinn, is cultural, a mixture of standing, dining and lounging, a space dedicated to territory and sustainability, from the décor by designer Martino Gamper to the menu, which merges the culture and traditions of the mountains with global cuisine and gastronomy.

The menu is based on local, seasonal products and each dish reflects the hard work of the local farmers and breeders, prioritising simple, pure and wholesome ingredients.
Like one of AlpiNN’s signature dishes: Cipolla, cipolla e Sasso Nero, onion cooked in ashes with a gratin of ‘Sasso Nero’ cheese from Valle Aurina and crispy-sour onions. Executive Chef Fabio Curreli’s gratins and crispy textures are a success, thanks also to Hi-Touch, the high-efficiency salamander by Giorik, a powerhouse of simplicity and technology.
