Brick Lane Espresso is a special place: established and run by lifelong friends, you get the feeling of coming home when you enter, thanks to its friendly, familiar and relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant is situated in the leafy Philip Mall in West Pymble, and this go-to location means it also has a great outdoor space. Brick Lane serves a “modern Australian breakfast”, as the partners like to call it, with a variety of specialty coffees and delicious croissants included in the offering. But it’s their meals, with locally-sourced seasonal products - and a particular passion for pasta - that make them proud and attentive towards their diners. And this attention has earned them inclusion on the @sitchu.sydney list of the “Best cafés on Sydney’s North Shore for weekend brunching”.
Brick Lane Espresso
West Pymble NSW (Australia)
We love what we do and are proud to be the "local" for our wonderful West Pymble community
So is there a signature dish that will whet even the most discerning palate? Roasted pork and fennel pinwheel sausage, baked cannellini beans with lemon and parsley. But the dish that really deserves an 8, which is what it’s been rated in the reviews, is its spicy and original spanner crab spaghetti with chilli, lemon and a generous serving of garlic sauce, for anyone who likes food with a kick to it. Their express cuisine calls for quick, state-of-the-art equipment. So Brick Lane has invested in Giorik’s top high-tech products to ensure the very best results in the kitchen and to give its cooks the ideal space to develop their skills and nurture the love for what they do. The kitchen equipment, installed by retailer Sydney Commercial Kitchens for our Australian distributor Stoddart, consists of a gas hob with six burners, a solid top hob, a gas fry top, a pasta cooker, a bratt pan, an electric salamander, a Steambox oven (for more complex preparations and large quantities) and a Minitouch oven (an excellent second oven for express cooking of smaller quantities).
