Capri restaurant

Malcesine, Garda lake (VR)

Lying on the Verona side of Lake Garda, the small town of Malcesine boasts the well-deserved title of “Pearl of the Lake”, thanks to its beautiful architecture and breath-taking location. The port, Palazzo dei Capitani and Scaligero Castle are just some of the attractions to enjoy as you stroll through the narrow streets of the old town centre. Where you will also find another go-to destination for tourists and locals alike: Ristorante Capri, run by Raffaele Lo Giudice.

The Capri is a magical place with a real holiday vibe. It’s not just the menu - offering a culinary experience from the length and breadth of Italy - that diners love, but also its friendly and attentive staff. Fish from the lake is the star of the menu, as well as saltwater fish and its homemade pasta, another of the restaurant’s highlights.

Our starters, first courses, mains and desserts are made with ingredients of the finest quality.

We visited the kitchen with our dealer, Dama, a long-standing Giorik partner based in Bergamo, who installed the equipment with its usual consummate professionalism. A large central island stands at the heart of the kitchen, made up of two rows of Unika 900 hobs installed back-to-back. A Steambox Evolution, our top-of-the-range oven, adds the finishing touch, along with a rapid Hi-Lite Plus salamander, perfect for high-productivity kitchens, thanks to its control board which activates the heating elements by simply touching the bar above the grille with the dish. This feature is particularly useful when the tourist season is in full swing and the restaurant is packed out.
