Giorik has completely fitted out the kitchens of the SIME DARBY, one of the largest multi-purpose centres in Malaysia and indeed the whole of South East Asia. Located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, the SIME DARBY, with its three storeys of flexible conference premises, can host over 2,500 guests. The jewel in the crown of the site is the modern Halia restaurant (meaning Ginger in Malaysian), designed to meet the tastes of the demanding international clientele of the Conference Centre. The menus on offer range from the typically oriental with wide elections of the finest Malaysian and Chinese dishes, to Western ones with refined new takes on the best-known foods from all over the world. In this truly cosmopolitan kitchen, the versatility and reliability required are once guaranteed by Giorik’s experience, whose equipment has been enhancing kitchens worldwide for a number of years. The kitchen has been fitted by Starkey Industry, Giorik’s distributor for Malaysia.
